The plan of salvation is simple so that everyone can have the same opportunity to be saved.
In order to be saved, you must believe that Jesus died for your sins on the cross and accept it for yourself. You must accept the Lord Jesus as personal savior and make him Lord of your life. This is what God requires.
You must understand that you are a sinner- that includes everyone regardless of ethnicity, social or economic class. ?For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.? Romans 3:23 After you allow Jesus to be your Lord and savior you become a new creation with new desires and a thirst after righteousness. ?Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.? 2 Corinthians 5:17
Many people try to earn salvation in different ways. ?For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.? Ephesians 2:8-9 Going to church, water baptism, or good works cannot save anyone. These things are important in your life but cannot save you. You are saved simply by having faith in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross.
You can be saved at this very moment. Just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and repent of your sins. ?I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.? Luke 13:3. Ask God to forgive you for your sins.
The moment you confess with your mouth, and believe in your heart, you are saved. ?That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
Pray this prayer now and watch God change your life moment by moment and day by day.
Jehovah God, I believe you sent your only son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I am a sinner. Forgive me for sinning against your word. Jesus, come into my heart and transform me to become who God created me to be. God, fill me with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen!
Now that you are a born again believer, it is important that you pray; talk to God every day. Read the Holy Bible; reading the book of St. John or Romans in the New Testament is a great start. You should also join a Bible based church for fellowship.
